What We Care About
We are proud to be located in the Gaeltacht area of Gaoth Dobhair, a beautiful area located between Na Rosa and Cloich Cheannfhaola in northwest Donegal, Ireland. Situated between the mountains and the sea we are lucky enough to enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding area with Glenveagh National Park and An Earagail “King of the Hills” on our doorstep
We have been supported by Údarás na Gaeltachta and our 'Kombrewery' has created more than 20 local jobs.
We care about having a positive impact socially, environmentally and economically. It’s our mission to create junk-free, delicious and refreshing alternatives to mainstream soft drinks… healthier options packed full of living cultures, created with care and consideration to our impact every step of the way
Local job creation has been central to our growth. We practice the utmost care in terms of our raw material sourcing, our ingredients are predominantly certified organic, and our packaging is continually reviewed from a sustainability perspective, as we continue to make strides towards our sustainability goals across every aspect of the business.
We have never used plastic bottles. Our glass bottles and aluminium (bpa-free) cans are widely and very well recycled. Currently our labels are made from a post-consumer waste material (made from recycled packaging films and labels) and are supplied with a paper backing which we recycle after label application. Our cardboard outer cases are made from recycled and/or (FSC) responsibly sourced materials, and of course are recyclable too.
